The same Gamespot that fired Grettsman for giving an honest review about Kane and Lynch?
Considering they fired him because Eidos pulled their ads right after that review shows that if ANYONE is not to be trusted, it's GAMESPOT.
The same GAMESPOT that promised LBP beta codes that they didn't even have, then blamed Sony. Yet EVERY OTHER videogame media outlet had LBP codes.
Please, get real. Gamespot is full fo S**T
Why are they acting like this is "new" news?
I've known that fact since 2007
"When wanting to equip or combine weapons it should go to pause, or at least allowing you have the option for those that don’t like it."
In an online, Co-op game, that wouldn't be to feasible because it's not as if the action would stop for BOTH players just for one person to adjust weapons like that. And if it did, that would lead to an even bigger issue
I myself wanted this game 100%. But after playing this demo I'm not totally sure anymore. I was never the biggest RE fan in the world, but I did like the games to an extent. This difficult controlling demo didn't do much to give me a positive look to this game.
And he sure as hell is right about the constant having to slash with that knife. And with the way the controls are set up, if you get surrounded it's very hard to work your way out of the bad situation
To be fai...
They say Yakuza 2 never made it out of Japan. But it already came out in the United States this past September.
Now instead of people "directly" trying to say "version A looks better than version B", you'll get people saying "it's not important but version A has darker or more detailed whatever than version B"
I don't know what you people are seeing. But the best chance to compare the two would be the first and second pictures in the third row (the ones with the black guy in the red shirt) I don't see any difference in either aside from the positioning because...
Once again, the fanboys with microscopic vision will say "my system's version is better"
I just tried the demo. I don't think it's bad overall. But it feels so hard to play (my opinion). First off, there is no such thing as "broken controls". Some control takes getting used to. And RE5's takes A LOT of getting used to. And (in my opinion) the camera doesn't seem set up right for the action at times. And the spaces seem so small (but that particular gripe may not reflect the whole game, so I can't really complain on that one)
The game is going to sell regard...
But with Killzone 2 it's "only" 10 hours.
Enough of the double standard nonsense already
"How does this affect the year to year decline of the Sony consoles? If anything, it would keep it the same, and the 360 would just keep selling more. Seems you're a little off."
Easy, these are two similar products. One sells for higher than the other. So when the already cheaper product (360) gets a mass price cut, where do you think the potential sales of the higher costing product are likely to go? And add to that everyone is pinching their pennies due to the econom...
I'm not even going to waste my time clicking on this article. Just one more "writer" with a lack of facts trying to get hits.
That is a possible reason as well. People might hate them simply because of their past dominance. But I don't get why the hate is even there. It's not like they did it with dirty business practices like other companies.
And you make a good point. Everyone loves to see the fall of a champion.
True, Toshiba was with MS on HD DVD. But the fact of the matter is MS was STILL there. So in that regard, it could be more like the lesser of two evils. In other words, pick Toshib...
That might be EXACTLY what it is. MS is an American company. So yeah, NOW the media strikes at Sony because they want to get all patriotic.
"Kung Fu panda is a bundle game..is there because people had no choice but to get it with a console
Sonic is there because people bought it fair and square for the ps3"
If THAT is how you think, then explain why Too Human was in the top ten for two weeks when it came out (according to VGchartz)
@panasonic23
Kung Fu Panda was a good game according to who?
And about the 360 Year to Year increases, I like who none of you ac...
Kung Fu Panda is in the 360 top 10 the week before.
But people don't realize that Digital Downloads have been around for MUCH longer than they make it out to be. DD has been around since the birth of Bittorrent and FTP (File tranfer Protocol). People have been downloading games and videos well before 2000.
So for DD to have only .5% market share for all the time it's been out is bad. And for people to have the nerve to say it's growing fast is ridiculous. You have the PC, set-top-boxes, the PS3 and the 360 all contributing to digi...
What happened to "digital downloads will kill blu ray" and all that other nonsense people kept talking?
I don't see how anyone doubted Blu Ray to begin with. Common sense should tell you Blu Ray would be a success.
I say that because it has more sales both on disc and hardware than DVD did at this same time in its lifetime. And it's doing this WITH this worldwide recession going on. So how you people can say "Blu Ray is doomed" is beyond me.
The most I ever bagged in one game was maybe 10 kills. Normally, I'm under 10. I suck to the point that I don't even try to win anymore. Now I just want the trophy
you have 10,000 kills from ranking competitive games online in resistance 2 and you just got the game? Most of those ranked games go up to 25 kills if it's on single player deathmatch
Oh well, then I just suck
That's all I'm going to say.
That's reason enough for GameSpot not to be trusted. They fired the man for giving an HONEST review. Ads from that company got pulled because of his honesty, then a few days later, Grettsman gets fired.
So you tell me, who would YOU trust, The other reviewers, or GAMESPOT?
